New Cadillac ATS to take on BMW 3 Series (+video)

Cadillac ATS - sorted at the Nurburgring GM has revealed that their new compact Cadillac ATS will debut at the Detroit Auto Show in January and go on sale in late 2012 as a 2013 model. The idea, just a few short years ago, that Cadillac could build a car that was capable of making the Germans look over their shoulder would have been laughable. But the new Cadillac ATS – debuting at Detroit in January – could do just that.

£2m McLaren P1 GTR for Pebble Beach

McLaren McLaren will show its new P1 GTR – pictured here for the first time in an official teaser shot above – at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance car show next month. The P1 GTR will feature a number of circuit-biased modifications – including a 1,000hp engine – and will cost £1.98 million. College Exhibition: Creapole-EDSI MA Degree Show 2007

The Creapole-ESDI Transport Design Masters degree exhibition took place in March this year, with work from the 17 graduating students of the Paris-based two year course on display. At the center of the C-Bionic concept is the idea of using a genetically engineered tree to serve as the main chassis for the vehicle, while the rest of the vehicle would be made out of high-density bio-plastics that in turn could be made out of parts of the tree and other organic materials.
