2 - USED CHEVY 5.3 GEN III GEN IV HEADS

  • CASTING NO. 799.
  • THESE HEADS ARE THE EXACT SAME AS THE 243 HEADS AND ALSO CAME ON LS2 AND LS6 CORVETTES, SAME VALVE SIZE, INTAKE AND EXHAUST PORTS AS THE 243, THESE HEADS WERE REMOVED FROM A 5.3 AND DO NOT HAVE THE CORVETTE VALVES AND SPRINGS.
  • HEADS HAVE BEEN CLEANED AND TESTED FOR CRACKS,
  • BOTH HEADS HAVE ONE BROKEN EXHAUST STUD THAT WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED.
  • HEADS ARE PRICED ACCORDINGLY
  • I DO NOT KNOW THE HISTORY ON THESE HEADS (year, make, model or mileage) AND IT IS RECOMMENDED TO REBUILD THEM PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.

The Furia concept's sporty and flashy design intrigued us, and while the 2014 Corolla is an upgrade from the bland Corollas of the past, it also glosses over most of the flair of the Furia. The Nissan LEAF EV will sell at £21,350 in the UK after subsidies are taken in to account Agree with their focus – some would say obsession - or not, you can’t help but admire Nissan’s intentions to make the electric car a mainstream reality. It’s a big commitment and a bold move which could actually make or break Nissan in the coming years, in the same way as the hybrid obsession at Lexus. But putting aside the business sense of a headlong tilt in to electric cars, we have to admit that the headline price for the Nissan LEAF in the UK – just announced as £23,350 (after taking in to account Government incentives) – is a very competitive price point.

Festooned with cues from the original 1998 TT – something of a modern classic – the new car marries typical Audi cues with sharper, more aggressive details. It looks awfully close to CAR’s artist’s impression of the new TT in our gallery (see right).
