This is the thrust washer for the starter shaft as it fits into the outer primary cover of a Harley Davidson Sportster model.  This thrust washer is a quality replacement part, it has the part #31502-65, from MidWest MC Parts.  This thrust washer is made of brass , it is NOT a painted steel washer, like some shops sell.  It will fit any Sportster primary from 1967 thru 1980.  Please check the part number of the part you need, there is NO return for wrong year or fit, when the part number is given in the listing.  The needle bearing that fits in the outer primary, next to this thrust washer, is also available for these Sportster years.  This thrust washer will also fit FL, FLH and all FX model Shovelheads from 1966 thru 1984.  That is all 4 speed, rear chain drive models.   It will fit any after-market primary that uses the OEM stock size thrust washer.  This thrust washer is brand new.   Please see the other items for more parts.
