A key fob of a Honda CBR600RR made from raising a 2D picture to a 3D object and then 3D printing it. This was printed by laser sinter which melts nylon powder hundreds of times a vertical inch until an object is created. Since it is solid nylon, these are very strong unlike other styles of printing. That is a one inch ring that is attached for a size reference.

Young driver training scheme to expand
Wed, 25 Sep 2013AN EXCITING scheme has been launched in curricula across the country to give children education in and practical experience of safe driving. A mixture of off-road hands-on young driver training mixes with theory work to give kids a head-start on road safety issues and take away some of the urge to rush to pass their tests when they reach 17. After tracking the progress of students who took part in a pilot scheme, the operators of Young Driver at School discovered that the training course reduced the rate of accidents by half, when compared to the normal accident rate for 17-24 year-olds.

KISKA opens new design studio

The new headquarters boasts state-of-the-art workstations and has been built to enable the firm to prepare for expansion and new challenges in the years to come. Designed by Hofbauer architects, the 4700m² building was built in just one and a half years.
