Honeywell Hall Effect Sensor 2av54 As Found In Bmw Ignition "bean Can" 1981 & Up on 2040-parts.com
Eugene, Oregon, US
For auction I have a New old spare, Honeywell 2AV54 Ignition Hall Effect Sensor used in the BMW electronic ignition systems, 1981 and newer, 2V airheads (so I've read, may be used in others). I bought a few of these (to meet purchase minimum) back in 2000 from Newark Electronics to do a modification to my 1984 BMW bean can, adding a second sensor should the first fail. Well, low and behold, I'm going through the garage today and what do I find? The Newark In One box with these new sensors, inside a box that I hadn't opened since the early 2000's. This is the last of the few I had.
This is a new Honeywell hall effect sensor, Newark p/n 96F1986, which I believe is the original part used. As you can see it comes with three wires ready for installation.
If you have any questions or need further information, please contact me via ebay. Thanks for viewing.
Shipping will be via USPS priority mail small flat rate box unless you have a strong desire for some other method, in which case I will charge actual shipping cost, plus a small box charge as I will have to buy one.

Volvo Estate Concept (2014) first official pictures
Thu, 27 Feb 2014By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 27 February 2014 11:00 This is the Volvo Concept Estate, which will be shown at the 2014 Geneva motor show. It’s a true three-door shooting brake wagon: Volvo claims it points strongly toward the future design of its V70 and XC70 estate models. Rather than going down the swooping roofline/thick pillars route for his shooting brake design, Volvo’s new design boss Thomas Ingenlath was inspired by the P1800 ES of the 1970s.
Land Rover considers smaller SUV
Tue, 18 Sep 2012Land Rover could add a luxury SUV below the compact-sized Range Rover Evoque, the brand's design director said. "Certainly, I think we can go smaller," Gerry McGovern told Automotive News Europe when asked about future plans for the premium Range Rover line. "In a world focusing on sustainability you could argue that smaller and lighter is the way to go." Range Rover is not the only brand considering a subcompact premium SUV.
