This is for 1997 Ford F-Series trucks equipped with a 7.3 Turbo Diesel engine. This was from a truck that was traded in. Its believed to be a vin locked unit, I am unable to check because the vehicle has been sold. If you mail this back to Hypertech they can unlock the unit for you for a fee. Item is being sold as is where is. No returns or warranty on this item. It powers up as it should.

Not restarting is not exactly a safety issue, so as long as you can actually get your nice new Nissan LEAF to start in the first place there’s no chance it will pack up on you mid-journey (unless you run out of electrickery). But having stumped up at least £10k more than an equivalent ICE car would cost for your LEAF, the least you should be able to expect is it to do what it says on the tin without packing up.
