2012 Lexus GS Spy Video

Wed, 27 Jul 2011

2012 Lexus GS on track at Toyota's huge proving ground in Belgium We’ve managed to churn out a number of stories on the 2012 Lexus GS over the last few weeks as Lexus ramps up the interest in their new GS ahead of its debut at Pebble Beach in August. Now we get one of the oxymorons of car PR in the internet age – the ‘Official’ Spy Video.

McLaren P1 performance figures confirmed

Tue, 22 Oct 2013

McLaren has confirmed performance statistics for its new P1 hybrid hypercar – and the official numbers are frankly amazing. We always knew the 2013 McLaren P1 was quick, but 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds, 0-124mph in 6.8 seconds, 0-186mph in 16.5 seconds and a 217mph top speed prove its astonishing pace. And it’ll return exceptional efficiency (given the performance) of 34.0mpg combined with 194g/km CO2.

60% of drivers say no to more cyclist protection – survey

Fri, 13 Dec 2013

A MAJORITY of drivers believe that they should not change the way they drive despite a series of cyclist deaths on the roads of the capital, according to a survey carried out by Motorpoint. Over 1,700 respondents answered the poll on the vehicle retailer’s website, with 60.5% of those declaring that their driving standards did not need to be improved in order to better protect cyclists. The Government’s response was to launch Operation Safeway, which included officers stationed a busy and dangerous junctions in London and an increase in on the spot fines for poor behaviour by drivers and riders alike.
