Condition:Used

This head was on a 1952 CJ2A that I restored. The customer had another one stamped JEEP so we used that one. This head was checked and resurfaced .015.  I painted it with Duplicolor FORD red after prepping it. You will have to clean the paint of the bottom obviously, and you can use it. It has a little pitting in #1 chamber compared to the rest. The plug holes are good. Due to the shipping weight I am listing it at a very reasonable price.

Bentley SUV: first picture revealed

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

Bentley has revealed the first official image of its new SUV, which is due to go on sale in 2016. Although the new car is effectively set to rival the upper end of the Range Rover model line-up, Bentley is keen to emphasise the new SUV’s exclusivity, saying that it will be the most luxurious and powerful SUV on the market. Speaking at a press conference in London today, Dr Wolfgang Schreiber, chairman and chief executive at Bentley Motors, said: “It will create a completely new segment in the SUV market.” First revealed as the EXP 9 F concept car back at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012, the new SUV will be crucial to Bentley as it looks to increase its sales over the next few years.

Honda Jazz / Honda Fit recall – faulty electric window switch

Sat, 30 Jan 2010

Honda is recalling the Jazz/Fit to replace faulty electric window switches It’s not exactly on the scale of the Toyota recall for a sticking throttle, but nevertheless the announcement by Honda that they are recalling almost 650,000 (MY 2002-2008) Honda Fits (that’s the Honda Jazz in the UK) around the world is another blow to a Japanese car maker just as the worst of the auto industry woes of the last year or two seem to be easing. The European Honda Jazz recall seems only to affect RHD cars, so it looks like it’s just the UK that needs a fix to the master window switch on the driver’s door on 171,00 models here. If the window gets left open for long periods – or if there are long periods of heavy rain – water can get in to the switch and cause it to malfunction and, at worst, catch fire.

Portugal commits to the Electric Car

Sun, 23 Nov 2008

Renault Electric Car [ad#ad-1] Portugal has today committed to building 1,300 recharging stations around the country by 2011, in a deal agreed with Renault to supply Electric Cars (EV). This is a further indication of the global rush to go green, with ‘carbon’ taxes and ‘carbon’ incentives sprouting from the desks of politicians throughout the West. But how logical is this phenomenon, and is it a fools errand, based on dubious facts’?
