This a very nice set of original Kaiser Jeep hubcaps that will fit a variety of vehicles ranging from the Wagoneers and J Trucks to the Jeepster and CJ 5 from the mid sixties into the early seventies. They are entirely original and have not been repainted, touched up or modified in any way.

They are very nice, but they are not perfect. There are little dings, dents and scuffs here and there but nothing major. These would be right at home on a fantastic survivor or even a good restoration. They would need attention, though, before they could be considered "Concours" quality, but none the less, these are very nice.

I rotated the hubcaps in 90 degree increments to help you decipher what are reflections and what are not. As I look at the photos I notice that the reflections look alot like flaws. Make no mistake, these are not perfect, however most of what you are seeing, if you look closely, you will realize are wrinkles in the backdrop, reflected off of the hubcaps surface. These really are in pretty good condition.

Former Ford exec Theodore shows off lighter chassis at SAE

Automakers are facing tougher government regulations for fuel economy, and one former Ford and Chrysler executive says he has a solution Chris Theodore, best known for his work on the Ford GT and Dodge Viper, has designed a vehicle chassis that he says will provide automakers with weight savings, cut manufacturing costs and make electric vehicles more economically viable. Theodore is showcasing his proof-of-concept Uni-Chassis at the SAE World Congress this week. It uses the powertrain and suspension of the GT, under an agreement with Ford.

Lexus RC-F Coupe teased again We had a tease from Lexus for a new F performance model to debut at the Detroit auto show next month, but Lexus declined to say what exactly it will be. Of course, it’s the new Lexus RC-F Coupe and even though Lexus don’t say as much, they do go as far as to say that the new F model will have ‘Half the doors, twice the roar’. Andy Palmer (pictured) is taking the reins at Aston Martin Lagonda Aston Martin has effectively been without a boss since Ulrich Bez stepped down from the role last year, but that changes with the announcement that Andrew Palmer – until now, Chief Planning Officer of Nissan – is to step in to the role. There’s no specific start date for Andy Palmer at Aston, but Nissan has announced that Philippe Klein will take up Palmer’s role at Nissan on 15 September, so it shouldn’t be long before Palmer holds the reins at Aston Martin. But what exactly has persuaded Andy Palmer to jump from a big corporate behemoth like Nissan to a struggling luxury car maker with owners who either want to tug the operating strings (the Kuwaitis) or are looking for a quick return (Investindustrial)?
