SPECIFICATIONS K1 Precision auto racing suit is made of double layer du pont Nomex III and is SFI 3.2A or 5 rated. Quilted from the outside with a soft collar, wrist cuffs, ankle cuffs, belt and epaulette, and featuring a custom ribbed back-stretched panel for added comfort and ribbed elastic under the arms to facilitate 360 degree movement, the K1 light weight auto racing suit is a comfortable, useable fire suit that is specially designed for auto racing applications. Ferrari sold for record £22 million
Fri, 15 Aug 2014A RARE FERRARI has been sold at auction for a record price of £22.84 million. One of just 39 models made and regarded as one of the greatest Ferraris, the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta went under the hammer at Bonhams' auction in Carmel, California. A huge crowd watching the bidding broke into applause at the confirmation of the final price, which outdid the previous record for a car sold at auction.
New VW Golf GTD: Price from £25,285
Mon, 15 Apr 2013At £25,285 the new Golf GTD – revealed at the Geneva Motor Show last month – is just £310 more than the old model despite an increase in equipment and performance and a better specification. Looking pretty much how you’d expect a GTI Diesel to look, the GTD gets smoked LED rear lights, bi-xenons with LED running lights, two chrome tailpipes, 18″ Nogaro alloys and the slightly butch body kt which includes side skirts, butch bumpers and a roof spoiler. Inside is ‘GTI’ too with tartan trim, black roof lining, sports steering wheel and GTD-specific trim for the gear lever, trim strips and instrument cluster.
Opel rolls out new cars at Frankfurt motor show
Tue, 10 Sep 2013While some automakers had just one or two new cars to show off at the Frankfurt motor show, GM's Opel division flooded the show with seven new offerings that'll be revealed as the show progresses. While there were plenty of new production models to be seen, including the revised Opel Insignia lineup, it was perhaps the Opel Monza concept that was designed to grab the attention of showgoers. We got a sneak peek at the Opel Monza concept a couple months ago, and even though a production version is not planned, the Monza is meant to showcase Opel's recent resurgence.
