The DC Design Avanti gets a Ford Ecoboost or V6 Honda turbo. Earlier this week we revealed that the first Supercar to emanate from the sub-continent was due to be debuted by Indian car customisers DC Design at the Delhi Motor Show.

That has been confirmed by Hyundai’s WRC boss, Michel Nandan, who told Australia’s Drive that all the money Hyundai is spending on Motorsport – including a new testing facility at the Nurburgring – is not just for the glow it will cast on Hyundai’s everyday cars, but for a new performance brand too.
Approved mechanics essential for quality service
Wed, 27 Nov 2013DRIVERS need to make sure their car is being properly serviced by a qualified mechanic, says the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI). To help drives do this, it has launched a government-backed scheme called the Professional Register. While there are around 175,000 people in the UK who call themselves automotive technicians, the IMI says it can only recommend around 27,000 as having the required skills and competence to carry out work to the required standard in their specialism.
