This item is a Lewmar Standard Series portlight in anodized silver with a clear lens model 38931 absolutely new and never installed. The portlight is new-old-stock in the original box (somewhat worn from the warehouse). Lewmar is the premier manufacturer of uncompromising quality high-performance yachting equipment.
The auction includes the metal mounting ring, ivory ABS interior trim, instructions, and matching flyscreen as pictured. 389 Series portlights are still supported by Lewmar, and the current closest match is probably the Standard Series 393322500 with a current list price of $438.68. Bentley W12 (and Audi and VW) engine production centres on Crewe
Fri, 21 Mar 2014The VW Group W12 engine will now only be made by Bentley in Crewe It’s probably not something you’ve paused to think about much, but if you did you’d assume that the Bentley W12 engine – fitted to the Flying Spur and Continental GT as well as the Audi A8 and VW Phaeton – was made only in Crewe. But you’d be wrong. In fact, the W12 for Bentleys are made in Crewe but those used in the Audi A8 and VW Phaeton are actually built by VW at their engine plant in Salzgitter.

Sun, 08 Sep 2013The Volkswagen Golf Sportsvan Concept (pictured) previews the 2014 Golf Plus VW are calling the Golf Sportsvan a concept, but it’s pretty much what we’ll see in the new VW Golf Plus when it arrives in mid-2014. Just like the other new Golfs, the Sportsvan uses the new MQB platform but grows in size. It’s 134mm longer than the Golf Plus and 83mm longer than the new Golf and has a wheelbase longer by 43mm to offer more space inside.
