You are bidding on hard to find vintage AER O TROLL boat engine control system.  The Aer o troll used 12 volt power to move the transmission selector on boats transmissions. There are three push buttons, forward, neutral, reverse.  All three push button switches werenc enclosed in a very solid bronze box.  The controls boxes were bullet proof and stout.   That type of system had many advantage as you could just run some wires to anywhere on the boat to create another control station but as with any thing electrical some problems existed after the system started to age.   There may be some of these system still  in use out there somewhere.

The smaller bronze box with toggle switch was used for throttle control on vessel that also  had a electrical throttle.  I personally had a Aer O Trol for a shifter on a boat but a Morse control cable for the throttle.

Included is a another bronze plate for the top of the Aer o troll box.

I have heard of some that re purposed the solid bronze boxes into other uses including garage door openers and light switches out doors. They can certainly handle bad weather.  I have another complete set if someone may be interested in set.  The bronze alone is worth more tha auction asking price.

Email if you have any questions.   Shipping is $13.50 by postal service flat rate box.

Mon, 14 May 2012

Eterniti Artemis - first sales at Beijing Despite a price tag of £250k, Eterniti says they have taken five orders for the Artemis SUV at the Beijing Motor Show. Eterniti Motors finally revealed their Artemis SUV at the Bejing Motor Show (that’s the Cayenne based Super SUV formerly known as the Eterniti Hemera), and it came with a whopping price tag of £250k. But despite that (or maybe because of it) the cost of the stand at Beijing seems to have paid off for Eterniti with the first five sales for the Super SUV being taken – four for the standard car at £210k plus tax and one for a completely bespoke version.
