Thu, 28 Feb 2013The Skoda Citigo Sport has been revealed as a sporty take on Skoda’s little city car, with more aggressive looks and lowered suspension. So Skoda are making a virtue out of the lack of any power boost for the new Citigo Sport by calling it the ‘Seemingly Powerful’ Citigo with sporty styling, lowered suspension and new interior. It looks the part, it just doesn’t go any better than the standard Citigo with its 1.0 litre 60PS engine.

Fri, 18 Mar 2011The Yaris HSD, as presented in Geneva, previews Toyota's intentions of bringing Hybrid technology to the B-Segment, as well as Toyota's full hybrid roll out across all models in its range. Retaining the familiar Yaris outwardly appearance (and previewing the next generation Yaris) the HSD is interspersed with ‘Hybrid' cues, to intimate at the hybrid powertrain beneath the body. From the pearl white paint to the light blue hue that illuminates certain aspects, there is an underlying emphasis on the fact that this car is a hybrid.

Sat, 31 Aug 2013A trio of Range Rover Hybrid s (pictured) on the Silk Trail The new Range Rover Hybrid (and the Range Rover Sport Hybrid too) are heading for a reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show in a week or so, but they’re not quite ready for showrooms yet. Land Rover are still busy doing the final shakedown of the hybrid powerplant and have decided the best way is a high profile jaunt from Land Rover in Solihull to Mumbai in India following the ancient Silk Trail route to test the robustness of their new hybrid. So they garnered a trio of Range Rover hybrids – and support vehicles – enlisted a team consisting of Land Rover development engineers and motoring media from 10 countries, and set off from Solihull on 22nd August on the almost 10,000 mile expedition.
