David Brown Automotive promising a new luxury British sports car
Fri, 17 Jan 2014David Brown Automotive promising a new luxury British sports car The name David Brown Automotive conjures up images of the man whose initials still give us the Aston Martin DB9 – former tractor builder David Brown who bought up Aston Martin in 1947 (and subsequently Lagonda and Tickford). But this David Brown Automotive is actually a new company which promises to “…refresh the classic British sports car, for the 21st Century” with a vision for a new luxury take on the classic British Sports Car. David Brown has put together a team lead by Alan Mobberley – who was Chief Designer at Land Rover until 2005 and cropped up recently as the designer for Eterniti Motors – and has commissioned Envisage Group (the firm that bought up what was left of CPP after Vladimir Antonov’s exploits and who are building the glorious Lyonheart E-Type) to bring his dreams to life.
BMW PAS concept (2009) teaser video
Fri, 30 Jan 2009By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 30 January 2009 11:15 This is BMW’s first video tease of its new PAS concept, which will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show on 3 March 2009. Unfortunately the video only features cartoon drawings and a narration that explains why BMW boffins think the PAS is a good idea. Worryingly, by the end of the video the PAS actually starts to make (a little) sense.
Honda CR-Z Hybrid (2010/2011) Leaks
Wed, 09 Dec 2009Picture of the leaked Honda CR-Z Hybrid brochure We saw the Honda CR-Z Hybrid at the Tokyo Motor Show a few months ago as what Honda called a concept. But it was clear that this new Hybrid Coupe from Honda was anything but a concept and was in fact a virtually production-ready car. So it’s no surprise to see a leaked picture of the Honda CR-Z brochure coming out of Japan.
