Forget today's budget special – the new Lancer is Mitsubishi's pitch to move the Lancer upmarket, away from cheap 'n' cheereful Korean rivals and towards the mainstream heartland occupied by Ford and Vauxhall. Nissan Juke-R - finally finished Nissan certainly milked the creation of the Nissan Juke-R for all it was worth. There were endless teases and photos – and even a video or three – some of which we covered, and some of which we didn’t, as it all got a wee bit tedious. But Nissan has finished their test-tube creation of a sub-compact SUV with the heart and soul of Godzilla, and has sent us a nice little video and a set of photos of the Juke-R looking menacing and purposeful in black.

Honda confirms 'mobile desk chair'

HONDA has announced details for a new version of its existing Uni-Cub ‘personal mobility solution’ – essentially a powered office chair. The Uni-Cub β is a development of the initial concept that appeared in 2012 as a bizarre solution to mobility around typical office-based work environments, although it would seem that no one at Honda had considered that humans have legs for that. It uses an omni-directional driving wheel system derived from Honda’s research into humanoid robots like the well-known ASIMO, allowing it to move in any direction according to the weight shifts of its user.
