This cover will give you more than 1 1/4" of ground clearance, there is no need to have your gears turned or perform complicated welding or machining processes that only add more cost to your axle build. All that is required is to bolt the diff cover to your axle and cut off the extra lip. This can be done with simple tools, you can do it yourself and we GUARANTEE THEM FOR LIFE! Like all of our diff covers they are made from 3/8" plate and machined flat after they are welded to insure that you will have a flat surface for proper sealing to your axle. We do recommend using allen head bolts on our GM 14 Bolt Shave Cover.

It’s not clear at this stage how much the Ampera will cost in the UK, but we’re looking at a likely cost around £20,000.

McLaren 12C Spider UK debut this weekend

Fri, 07 Sep 2012

The McLaren 12C Spider – the roadster version of the MP4-12C – gets its UK debut this weekend at the Octane Jubilee Tour of Elegance at Windsor Castle. McLaren’s thoughts may be focused on the debut of the new F1 (P12) at Paris in a few week’s time, but that doesn’t mean the more mainstream MP4-12C and its convertible sibling, the 12C Spider, are pushed aside. After revealing the 12C Spider in July – and taking it off to Pebble Beach in August – it’s now time for the UK to get its first public view of the new convertible McLaren.
