You are bidding on (1) NEW OLD STOCK Brake Spring Overhaul Kit. Book shows that this is proper for the 1953 and 1954 Corvette, 1951-1955 Chevy Passenger Cars and 1/2 ton pickup. The book does not state if it is for the front or rear so it may fit either but please verify. There is surface rust on one retainer. Could easily be painted. Otherwise good NOS condition. The box is aged and one side end flap is ripped off. There is a pushed in hole in the top of the box SATISFACTION GUARANTEED NOTE: I HAVE OTHER PARTS FROM THE 30'S, 40'S, 50'S, 60'S,70's, 80's, 90's, and 00's INCLUDING EARLIER GMC/CHEVY PARTS LISTED IN OTHER AUCTIONS. Tue, 22 Feb 2011The Volvo V60 DRIVe This week we’re out playing with a Volvo DRIVe model, although our car is the S40 DRIVe. DRIVe models are Volvo’s push at all things green (or all things blue if you’re German) and take a regular Volvo and eco the bejesus out of it with stuff like stop-start, low rolling resistance tyres and the plethora of eco-toys car makers use to make the headline economy and emissions unbelievable. The result is a Volvo that drives pretty much the same as any Volvo but which can – as long as you play the eco-driving game – run almost on fresh air, and because cars like this are designed to hit emissions targets on official cycles, they’re also good on stuff like VED and BIK. And if the S40 DRIVe we’ve got this week is anything to go by, you can still drive with enthusiasm and enjoy it as long as you don’t mind the economy suffering.

Italdesign Giugiaro transforms 'Golf Vision 2020' winning design into hard model
Tue, 08 Oct 2013Italdesign Giugiaro transformed an Istituto d'Arte Applicata e Design (IAAD) student's thesis project into a 1:4 scale model after it was chosen by Giorgetto Giugiaro as the best Masters project in the ‘Golf Vision 2020' challenge. The challenge, launched in collaboration with the carozzeria and Volkswagen, asked students to design the Volkswagen Golf of 2020. The best designs from the Bachelors and Masters courses were picked at the end of the year by renowned designer and school sponsor, Giorgetto Giugiaro.
