I have a NOS box of Ate Porsche Exhaust Valves for your 356SC or 912 up for sale. These Ate/TRW 74-3048 valves are made in Germany 'new old stock' and believed to be the rare Sodium Filled valves for cooling unlike the new India/China 'bi'metal' valves being offered.
I believe these sought after valves are the newer Porsche OEM part # 616 105 406 50 or 00 but cannot be certain. Each box contains 4 valves in factory brown wax wrapper with Ate and part number inscribed on valve ends. I believe these valves will fit: - 1964 - 65' Porsche 356C and 356SC - 196(5?)6 - 69' Porsche 912 *Picture of this box this 74-3048 is the box you will receive. Fisker buys BMW engines for Project Nina
Fri, 02 Sep 2011Fisker's Project Nina will get BMW Engines You’ve probably got used to stories about Henrik Fisker’s eponymous car company, makers of the convincing range-extender sports saloon, the Fisker Karma. But you may not be quite as au fait with Fisker’s future plans – Project Nina. Project Nina is Henrik Fisker’s equivalent of Tesla’s Model S – it’s where a niche car maker goes mainstream.
Smart Forvision concept
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Smart will unveil its new Forvision concept car at the 2011 Frankfurt motor as the manufacturer continues its preview its future design direction. In the last 12 months the company has revealed its Forspeed and eScooter concepts, with the latest addition designed to keep to the original ForTwo's green specifications. The Forvision uses the latest Smart electric drive system, which Daimler claims will add approximately 20 percent to the range of the current electric Smart, with an EV range of around 110 miles. The vehicle's paintwork and glass can reflect heat – on a hot day it can apparently cool the interior by around 20° C. Vauxhall Corsa ecoFlex 98g/km revealed
Fri, 30 Oct 2009The new Vauxhall Corsa ecoFLEX for 2010 with 98g/km CO2 emissions As I think we’ve said before – another day, another Eco car. A few days a go we had the new BlueMotion Golf coming in at a chunk under it’s previous iteration on the CO2 emissions front, and today we’ve got Vauxhall’s baby being revealed for 2010 sporting CO2 emissions of 98g/km – which makes a change from the ubiquitous 99g/km figure. The new Corsa ecoFlex manages to trim the CO2 emissions from 105g/km on the previous Corsa ecoFLEX model to 98g/km – and therefore a freebie VED – with even the 5 door version sneaking below the 100g/km threshold.
