NOS VINTAGE 60's 70's GM LARGE LOCK CHROME BEZEL, STATION WAGON TAILGATE? ????  NEW IN GM BOX, BUT MISSING PART NUMBER - CAST# E 820123-1.  LOOKS LIKE TRUNK OR TAILGATE LOCK BEZEL - PLEASE COMPARE YOUR APPLICATION.  IT IS METAL/CHROME.  VERY NICE, NO PITS, FEW LIGHT SCRATCHES - BRIGHT AND SHINY.  TOP MEASUREMENT IS - 3 7/8" ACROSS - BOTTOM IS 4 5/16" OD.  IT IS 3/4" TALL (WITHOUT SCREW STUDS / WITH STUDE ITS 1 3/16")  THE LOCK CYLINDER HOLE IS 11/16" ID.  IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT THIS FITS, LET ME KNOW AND I'LL UPDATE AUCTION SO IT CAN GET TO SOMEBODY WHO NEEDS IT.  Please contact me with Questions before bidding.

New Mercedes GLA does off-road – a bit (video)

Mercedes want you to know the new GLA (pictured) can do off-road too. Mercedes are wasting little time in promoting the new GLA, with yesterday’s reveal of the A-Class Compact SUV coming with the first video trailer to whet potential buyers’ appetites. But it seems Mercedes are quite keen to show that the GLA might  just offer a bit more than soft-roader credentials if you opt for a 4MATIC 4WD version (initially available on the 2.0 litre petrol GLA 250 or turbodiesel GLA 220 CDI) in their latest promo video for the GLA.

Porsche are planning a 2 door Panamera Convertible That new Porsche 928 now looks an even more likely possibility after Automotive News reported that Porsche are looking to make a convertible Panamera. But it won’t be a four door convertible, but a two door. The report says that is to help with rigidity (we buy that) and to keep weight down (yeah, just like they have on the saloon), but what it does mean is that Porsche could easily engineer a fixed-roof, shortened Panamera to create a high-end GT in the style of the 928.
