I have a rare NOS box of 33mm Ate VW Intake Valves for your consideration. These Ate 71-3989 valves were made in 'Germany' ( sodium filled ? ), unlike the new Indian/Chinese valves being presently offered. Do not need to explain the differences in quality.
This box contains 3 valves in factory brown wax wrapper and one without. The Ate logo and part number are inscribed on valve ends. I believe these valves will fit early 40hp 1300's Beetle, Ghia, Transporter or Bus ? Perhaps some early 356A pre A Porsche's but not certain. And so it is. Eterniti has release the first photos of the Hemera ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and at first view it could just as easily be a new Cayenne from Gemballa or Merdad.
