UK electric car sales hit record high

A total of 1,149 electric cars were registered in Q3, not only a 25% improvement over Q2, but the most successful quarter since the government scheme began back in January 2011, indicating that consumers are starting to understand the technology and its limitations rather better. Spyker would rebuild Saab around core products, put 9-1 plans on hold
Mon, 04 Jan 2010Spyker Cars NV will rebuild Saab around the 9-3, 9-5 and 9-4X models if it buys the Swedish brand from General Motors Co., Spyker CEO Victor Muller says. Plans for a Saab 9-1 entry-level car would be put on hold. Muller said Saab would maintain its headquarters, engineering and production in Trollhattan, Sweden, under Spyker's ownership.
