IDEA Institute acquired by Quantum Kapital

Turin-based automotive design, modeling and engineering firm IDEA (Institute of Development in Automotive Engineering) has been sold to Quantum Kapital AG, an investment company with an industrial emphasis based in St. Gall, Switzerland. The transaction is expected to be completed in the next few weeks.

Fornasari Racing Buggy concept

Fornasari, a small independent automaker based in Italy, has recently completed a new 'Racing Buggy' concept, which will be unveiled at the Frankfurt motor show in September. The 2+2-seat concept is a powerful, functional and extreme off-road vehicle with a removable roof and doors. It measures 4350mm long, 2000mm wide, 1720mm high and has a 2750mm wheelbase.

Prodrive starts listing service for used race cars

Some would go to other teams, who would run them competitively, or to collectors. Additionally, Prodrive sells fully prepared new Subaru-based Group N and WRC rally cars to customers.
