THEY ARE VERY EASY TO INSTALL BY UNSCREWING YOUR O2 SENSOR FROM YOUR EXHAUST THEN SCREW YOUR SENSOR INTO THE EXTENDER AND THEN SCREW THE TWO PIECES BACK INTO YOUR EXHAUST. THE EXTENDER HAS A 7/8 HEX HEAD WHICH IS THE SAME SIZE AS MOST O2 SENSORS AND IT MAKES THEM EASER TO INSTALL NOT LIKE THE STRAIGHT SIDED EXTENDERS. FITS ALL STANDARD SIZE SENSORS WITH A 1/2 INCH DIAMETER TIP. THE SIZE OF THE EXTENDERS IS M18 X 1.50 AND THEY ARE ABOUT 1 1/4 INCH LONG. Smart car inventor Nicolas Hayek dies
Wed, 30 Jun 2010Nicolas Hayek, the engineer and industrialist who founded the Swiss watch company Swatch and brought the world the Smart car, died on June 28 of heart failure at his office in Switzerland. He was 82. Hayek saved the Swiss watch industry from lower-priced Asian competition in the early 1980s by offering colorful, inexpensive Swatch timepieces that he backed with equally colorful marketing.
Subaru recalls 275,000 Foresters for seatbelt fix
Thu, 15 Mar 2012Subaru will recall certain Forester models produced in model years 2009-11. About 275,000 of the small SUVs could be affected by a problem with the automatic locking retractor in the seatbelt assembly. In the recall announcement, Subaru says the assemblies do not meet federal motor-vehicle safety standards for occupant crash protection.
