Compatibility Notes
  • 2011 Jetta: Does not currently provide a reverse output trigger
  • 2010+ Vehicles: The C2R-VW2 does not retain the digital amplifier in Dynaudio systems
  • 2012+ Vehicles: The C2R-VW2 does not retain the digital amplifier in Fender systems
  • 2002-2005 Vehicles: In these year vehicles the C2R-VW2 does not provide a Reverse output trigger. This signal is unavailable on the data bus. You must be replacing a factory Double-DIN radio. If the vehicle came equipped with a Single-DIN radio, the C2R-VW2 is not compatible.
  • 2004-2007 Touareg: Does not retain digital audio amplified system seen when the vehicles is equipped with factory navigation radio

2002-2005 vehicles (excludes Touareg)

  • Can program track up & down and volume up & down.

2006-2010 vehicles with Eight button SWC (excludes Touareg)

  • Can program volume up & down, phone button and star button without effecting Multi-Function Display (MFD). Arrow up & down can be programmed but will control MFD.

2009-2010 vehicles with 12 button SWC (excludes Touareg)

  • Can program left hand side of steering wheel volume up & down, track left & right, phone and mute buttons without effecting MFD. Arrow up & down on right side can be programmed but will control MFD.

2004-2010 Touareg

  • Can only program volume up & down

The machinations and misunderstandings surrounding Victor Muller’s increasingly desperate quest to keep Saab alive has probably provided more stories than almost anything else this year. Yesterday’s Saab episode surrounded Pangda Chairman Pang Qinghua stating that the Saab deal was no longer valid since Saab went in to court protection in Sweden, raising the prospect of one of Saab’s creditors pushing the bankruptcy button rather swiftly.

Ford has now released official pictures and info on the 2011 Mustang GT The reveal of the 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 litre been a bit on the comical side. We first got news that Ford had finally made the 2011 Mustang GT a car worth having again a couple of weeks ago, and just a few days ago we had the first leaked pictures of the 2011 Mustang GT. So there was no way that Ford could hang out for too long with the official gen, and with the Holidays over in the US they’ve bitten the bullet and chucked all the details over.

Well, it looks like the value of my Porsche Cayenne S may just have risen from nothing to something! The heaviest snowfall in the south east for many years has lead to chaos on our roads. Slip-sliding around has been the name of the game, with only 4 wheel drive cars being able to make progress on some of our poorly-gritted roads.
