These dual purpose motorcycle swingarm spools support bikes on a rear swingarm stand and minimize damage to a motorcycle during a fall or crash. The swingarm spools provide a sturdy & solid mounting point for a rear stand to allow motorcycles to be lifted and supported upright without using a kickstand for servicing or storing bikes. Swingarm spool sliders help minimize damage to the bike by acting as a buffer between the ground and the motorcycle during a collision, spreading out the force of impact and letting the bike slide to a more natural stop. The swingarm spools are constructed from heavy duty black delrin. Available in 8mm, 6mm & 10mm sizes to fit the pre-threaded holes most bikes have. These swingarm spool sliders are sold in pairs and include all necessary mounting hardware.

Oracle Finance has been busy looking at the premiums being charged for desirable cars (and, presumably, willing to finance to premium too) and have discovered that those not on Ferrari’s VIP list – and therefore not invited to buy a LaFerrari from Maranello – are willing to pay a premium of £1 million to get their hands on Ferrari’s replacement for the Enzo. But it’s not just LaFerrari that’s commanding hefty premiums.

Lamborghini CO2 Reduction Press Release • The construction of a large photovoltaic plant, combined with an energy-saving project, will achieve a 30% reduction in the factory’s CO2 emissions by 2010 • Modifications to vehicles will result in a 35% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2015 Automobili Lamborghini announces its intention to complete its program of environmental sustainability in record time by presenting new plans which will enable the company: The plans for reducing emissions will thus involve two areas: modifications to the Lamborghini factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese, and development in vehicle design. To redefine its industrial processes in accordance with its policy of environmental sustainability, Lamborghini has just begun a project to complete installation of a large photovoltaic system by the end of 2009. The roof-top plant will produce 1,582 Megawatt hour (MWh) of “green” energy per year, which translates into a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions (-1,067,820 Kg/year) by 2010.

The original 1950s Saab 92 Victor Muller – the man who saved Saab from GM’s closure plans – wants the company to build a compact premium car, something we’ve know since before he managed to close the deal to take on the troubled Swede. And it looks like that’s close to being confirmed as Victor declares that the decision will be made in the next 100 days. Which sounds to us as if there is a deal in progress with another manufacturer to supply a platform.
