Parting Out: 1982 Vw Rabbit / Golf I Volkswagen Mk1 A1 " Black Tie " Edition on 2040-parts.com
Sioux Falls, South Dakota, US
This listing features a 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit. Has one year only seats and some other special things - the "black tie" edition was the predecessor to the "wolfsburg editions" IIRC. I will sell it complete, or I will sell parts off of it. If you are interested in purchasing vehicle whole, PLEASE message me to determine what has been sold off vehicle since pics were last taken! It has many good salvageable parts & I would prefer to part it out as I believe it is beyond saving. I'm not my very motivated to sell vehicle complete, should be pretty obvious to most from price...hehe. Hey, its worth more in parts though, and condition is everything!
Please message me with any parts requests & we can set up a Buy-It-Now listing on here for you!
CONDITION: There are only two wheels on the ground on this thing, and one of them is froze up. Plastic wheel well arches have already been sold. No battery, no catalytic converter.
There is (currently) no title with this car, but we are attempting to locate it. The car can currently be purchased WHOLE with a bill of sale. Please message for details.
We are currently parting out numerous older Volkswagens (and the occasional non-VW), please write with your parts requests, thanks.
This is a salvage vehicle and is being sold for parts only. It is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or put on a trailer. This item is NOT eligible for the eBay Motors Vehicle Purchase Protection Program.

Wed, 01 Jul 2009By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 01 July 2009 09:22 CAR was hanging out at Jaguar yesterday when we spotted this: the new XKR Goodwood Special – an XKR turned up to 11 to wow the crowds at this weekend's Festival of Speed.Editor Phil McNamara was on hand to soak up the one-off XKR, which points to a harder, faster XKR. Power rises to 523bhp from the standard XKR's 503bhp and torque swells to an earth-rippling 516lb ft.The new Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special: the lowdownWe were at the Whitley design centre on an, ahem, top-secret feature for a future issue of CAR Magazine, when design director Ian Callum and chief engineering type Mike Cross arrived unannounced in the XKR Goodwood Special. Over to you, Mike: 'The regular XKR has a torque limiter to conserve the gearbox's life,' he explained.
Goodwood Festival of Speed gets a Phantom Coupe
Thu, 26 Mar 2009Tom Purves of Rolls Royce handing over a Phantom Coupe to Lord March for the Goodwood Festival of Speed [ad#ad-1] We brought you news of the launch details for the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed last week, and today it has been announced that Rolls Royce has lent the Goodwood Festival of Speed a Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe as the official Course Car for this year. Now a Phantom Coupe is not the first car you would think of as a course car. Bit too expensive and not exactly capable of massive feats of performance (although it is, at least intil the Silver Ghost arrives, the most ‘Sporty’ of the Rolls Royce models), but it fits the Goodwood event perfectly.
