This is the ultimate C4 Transmission.  It exceeds PA's (Performance Automatic's) 1000HP unit standard rating.

This transmission was purchased as part of the Coyote Drag Pack which includes the the PA Super Comp Transmission which features the following:

• High Performance racing clutches
• Pro shift servo
• Hardened input shaft
• Pro Pump
• Deep Aluminum pan
• Reverse manual transbrake valve body
• 6-Pinion Power Planet

It was run on a Turbo Coyote car and it broke so the "lifetime warranty" that PA offered was pretty much useless because of transportation cost...

Beyond the $4500 spent on the package, I sent the transmission to Racing Transmission Builder Schuck's and had the unit further upgraded with an additional $2500 was spent on stronger parts along with a BILLET INPUT SHAFT to prevent breakage like on the original PA Super Comp trans.

Two of these transmissions were built to this spec to support the racing program.  After the additional upgrades by Schuck's, the one on the car never broke again after countless passes.  This unit here is the TWIN of the other unit which was the spare that never needed to be used.

The car is sold now.  This transmission is freshly built to the higher HP specs and billet input shaft, etc......and has never seen a pass.

$7000 spent on this transmission.  It's essentially brand new and ready for abuse.

I need the space so my loss is your gain.

This is just for  the transmission.

If you need a torque converter or bell housing (both MOD or 302), I have them for sales separately.

Thank you!

Crunch watch Dec 08: the auto industry in crisis

Wed, 31 Dec 2008

By Tim Pollard and Simon Stiel Motor Industry 31 December 2008 14:05 Wednesday 31 December 2008• GMAC, GM's finance arm, said it would immediately revise its criteria for providing loans, after the US government bail-out of the General's credit arm. It will now supply credit for anyone with a score of 621 or more on the Fico scale, the scale used to assess Amercian customers' creditworthiness (Financial Times)• The news means that 80% of US consumers would now qualify for a loan from GMAC – which should improve sales in the depressed US market (Detroit News)• Chrysler is being lambasted for taking out full-page adverts in the American national press thanking the nation for supporting its auto industry. But critics point out this is a fresh waste of bail-out resources, as pages in the Wall Street Journal – one of the titles in which the ad ran – reportedly cost up to $264,000.
