I was having this pump remanufactured by Everglades Diesel Injection Services in Ft. Lauderdale, but then another pump came along and I was in a hurry to get back home, so I took that one. This one is in beautiful condition, still in the plastic from the shop. The DPA# is 3246F997. These are actually pretty tricky to track down these days. I'm asking exactly what it cost me to remanufacture it.

SEAT are calling the Ibiza Cupra they’ve debuted at the Beijing Motor Show a Concept, but it’s not really a concept or a new Ibiza Cupra – it’s just the Ibiza Cupra with the updates the rest of the Ibiza has had for 2012. That means a bit of a nose job with glitzy new headlights with LEDs, new grill and big air vents, a revised bumper at the back with tweaks to the lights and some new alloys.

We get the main-man again this time – Ian Callum, Design Boss – which illustrates just how important the interior of the new Jaguar XJ is going to be. We said the other day that the Driving Dynamics would make or break the new XJ, but this will too.
(Another) Audi A3 e-tron hybrid at Geneva 2013
Thu, 21 Feb 2013The Audi A3 e-tron – a hybrid A3 EV based on the A3 Sportback – will debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a concept. This Audi A3 e-tron isn’t a pointless electric supercar – like the R8 e-tron – or another rollout of the A3 e-tron BEV, but a hybrid A3 with a proper ICE engine coupled to an electric motor, just like the A3 e-tron concept we saw in Shanghai in 2011 That still means a lot of complicated and heavy technology to game the silly official economy tests and come up with ‘official’ economy figures of 158mpg and 35g/km, but the A3 e-tron would – if it were made – offer big tax breaks for company car drivers. The A3 e-tron gets a 1.4 litre direct injection petrol engine good for 148bhp working with an electric motor good for an extra 100bhp.
