Diesel rocket passes 300mph in record bid

The sleek racer – powered by twin diesel engines each producing 750bhp – touched 308.252mph yesterday (Thursday 17 August). That smashes the current diesel car world record of 235.756mph, set in 1973.

But although Kia has sent us details of their new warm hatch, they haven’t exactly given us extensive detail. Porsche lineup takes shape for Rennsport Reunion at Mazda Raceway

More than 350 retired Porsche race cars will participate on track at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca during the Porsche Rennsport Reunion IV, Oct. 14-16. Many of the participating cars have tackled the 11-turn Mazda Raceway during professional racing days.
