Red Peace Sign shift knob includes our anodized silver finish adapter /conversion kit for the non-threaded Volkswagen and Audi 5 and 6 speed shifters which use a clamped type original knob. 2-1/8" diameter , this knob is engraved and paint filled. Easy installation with all hardware included, fits correctly and holds the shift boot nicely. CNC machined 6061 aluminum adapter anodized for a perfect finish and long life. Looks like a factory part and allows you to choose from thousands of our KICKgASS shift knobs! Includes knob shown in Image 1 with adapter kit as shown in inset image. No other parts included. Image 2 shows adapter to knob and boot fitment, image 3 shows the factory shifter with factory knob removed.

It wasn’t a bad starting point for an able mid-sized crossover – a high-riding Impreza, in all but name – but it wasn’t the cheapest offering in the class. But now, with the Yen being a bit kinder to Japanese car makers, Subaru has decided to nudge the price a bit lower to start the XV range off below £20k for the first time. The price drop for the XV only applies to the 1.6 litre petrol versions, but you can now get the entry-level XV 1.6i S for a more affordable £19,995 rising to £23,415 for the XV 1.6i SE with the Lineartronic gearbox, reductions across the range of £1300.

Daimler today confirmed the revised E-class will get the company’s nine-speed automatic transmission on the E350 Bluetec diesel. The Mercedes 9G-Tronic gearbox has an epically long top gear, all the better to reduce fuel consumption and emissions for E-class owners.
