Once you weld a tube connector into your tube, if you smooth out the welds, all you'll see is a small allen bolt which looks a lot better than the normal exhaust flanges that people use to connect tubes together on a sand rail, dune buggy, rock crawler, or mud buggy. Tube connectors are the easiest way to make a section of a chassis removable. Many of our customers use tube connectors on the rear of their cars for easy engine removal as well as for light bars and front bumpers. Made from 4130 chromoly.  |

Carfest dates announced for 2014
Tue, 12 Nov 2013CHRIS EVANS has announced his popular Carefest shows will take place again in 2014, with dates confirmed as 1-3 August and 22-24 August. Hosted by the car-loving Radio 2 DJ, Carfest North on 1-3 August will be held at Oulton Park racing circuit in Cheshire. Three weeks later, Carfest South will take place at Laverstoke Park in Hampshire, owned by former Formula One World Champion Jody Scheckter, on 22-24 August.
Chrysler ecoVoyager Concept
Mon, 26 Nov 2007The third eco-friendly concept Chrysler will be unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show in January will be this ecoVoyager show car, a four-door, four-passenger vehicle. Like the Ford Airstream concept unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show last year, this concept explores the potential of maximizing interior space through employing an electric powertrain mated to an environmentally-friendly hydrogen fuel-cell. Overall the exterior design of the ecoVoyager appears fairly conventional.

Circumventing London on the M25, much as we complain, is infinitely better than using the North and South Circular roads used to be. London to Leeds is just a few hours and, despite the huge traffic problems on the M5 in the summer months, the West Country is accessible in an acceptable length of time.
