Thu, 03 Jul 2014By Tom Clarkson Motoring Issues 03 July 2014 11:00 1948 Silverstone’s transformation from a World War II bomber station into a race circuit began in August 1948, when the Royal Automobile Club took out a one-year lease on RAF Silverstone. Subaru enjoys best-ever sales month in the US
Tue, 10 Sep 2013Subaru sold a whopping 41,061 cars in America during the month of August, which not only represents a 45 percent increase over August of last year, but also the best month of sales for the company, period. That's right, the summer days of sliding around town in a sporty coupe are coming to a close, and we think the answer for the ridiculously high Forester sales lies in a quote anyone with a television should be familiar with by now: winter is coming.

We recently commented that Jaguar sales are not as strong as they were and now it seems Mercedes is starting to feel the punch as sales of the range-topping S Class falter.
