Thu, 12 Aug 2010The Jaguar XKR175 - to celebrate 75 years of Jaguar If you read the report we recently did about Jaguar celebrating its 75th anniversary by launching the Limited Edition Jaguar XKR75 in to Europe, you could be forgiven for thinking that either the headline is a mistake or Jaguar has had a quick recalculate and realised they’d actually been in business for a century more than they thought. But if you reached that perfectly reasonable conclusion, you’d be wrong. In the UK and Europe Jaguar decide that the car to celebrate 75 years should be called the 75 and be produced in that number – so 75 are being made.

Thu, 08 Dec 2011And over on the Rinspeed stand at the 2012 Geneva motor show, you can expect to see the new Rinspeed Dock + Go, a Smart Fortwo with a new mobility concept. It adds a bespoke trailer to the Smart city car, letting customers drive into town two-up in the regular Smart, or go on a longer journey to the seaside with all the clobber (for two, no families allowed – unless the children can be flatpacked into the boot) stuffed into the trailer. Mon, 11 Nov 2013The new MINI is being teased again ahead of its debut The all new MINI for 2014 is due to be revealed next week on the anniversary of the birth of its creator, Sir Alec Issigonis, and MINI are squeezing in another tease for their new baby ahead of its official debut. We’ve already had a couple of teases from MINI in the run up to the reveal – including a good look at the new MINI with the MINI Vision Concept – so we’ve got a good ideas of what’s in store for MINI buyers. What we get this time is plenty of moody shots in low light of the new MINI’s features to keep the interest going, although much of the DNA of BMW’s MINI are carried forward from the current MINI.
