Thu, 02 Apr 2009By James Foxall Motor Shows 02 April 2009 14:49 What’s new on Ssangyong’s Seoul motor show stand?There was palpable relief on the Ssangyong stand in Seoul as the motor show press day followed a company conference where its rejuvenation package had been outlined to worried importers. This is being led by the C200, a Nissan Qashqai-style crossover SUV that will come in both two -and four-wheel drive formats. Production of Ssangyong’s first ever monocoque car starts in November 2009 and it’ll be on sale in the UK for March 2010, promising a cheap alternative to traditional makers.
Mercedes at 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed – includes SLS AMG Black Series debut
Sat, 13 Jul 2013The Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series (pictured) debuts at 2013 Goodwood FoS In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend and car makers are out in force with their fastest supercars and classics. Mercedes always offer a decent show at Goodwood and this year is no different, with the UK dynamic debut for the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series, which will be strutting its stuff all weekend up the hillclimb. At the other end of the performance range, the Mercedes A45 AMG is also in action showing the crowds just what 360bhp in a compact hatch can do with its runs up the hillclimb.
XCar talks to Chuck (Morgan) about the Morgan AeroMax
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Auto enthusiast YouTube channel XCar recently interviewed Charles Morgan, managing director of Morgan Motor Company, about the British car company, its AeroMax coupe and “automotive theater.” Morgan joined the family business in 1985. His father ran the company before him and his father, Henry Frederick Stanley Morgan founded the company in 1910. Morgan says he thinks that the Aeromax -- which happens to be his daily driver -- is one of the most beautiful cars in the world.
