Cleaning out Grandpa's closet and found this tachometer reading up to 3,000 RPM

It goes into a hole l3-3/8 in diameter and has a plastic ring or collar to clamp it to the dashboard from behind.  There are two sockets for connecting plugs on its backside and each has four prongs extending upwards inside the collars. There is still the plastic sheet protecting the dial surface.  No blemishes of any kind can be seen.  The only brand marking is the paste-on label you can see in the photo reading 109205-B

(If you're into that sort of thing.) -- OK, we get it -- Mongolia has only about 2,000 miles of paved roads, but that's no excuse for chafing through a bottleneck in this manner.
