Tein EDFC Electronic Damping Force Controller

Part# EDK01-10100

Model M10-M10

Used, but in great shape.  All pieces present, including original box, wrench, etc.

Description:

The EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) makes it possible for the driver to control the damping force at the touch of a button while in the driver's seat. This is accomplished by controlling stepping motors installed on each shock absorber. Because the damping force can be controlled with such ease, the driver can adjust the suspension to suit all road/track conditions. Thus allowing the driver to fully enjoy the driving experience.

Additional Features for EDFC Control Unit:
• Compact 1/4 DIN size
• 3 Presets for Quick Adjustments
• Separately adjustable for front and rear
• Ability to use switch between 16 and 32 way adjustment
• Illumination for ease of use at night
• Variable Illumination control
• Variable Volume control
Additional Features for EDFC Motor Kit and Wiring Harness:
• Sealed rubber motor cover for improved protection
• Decreased stepping motor size for use on more applications
• Complete harness with female/ male connectors
• Extended wiring harness for ease of installation
Additional Features for Strut Kit:
• Uses a stopper bracket to eliminate tangling of EDFC wiring on strut type front suspensions.
Tangling is caused by the strut suspension design which rotates when turning the wheels. Without the Strut kit the EDFC wires will become tangled and may break.

Kia KV7 concept

Tue, 28 Dec 2010

Kia is clearly keen to grab the last of 2010's headlines by releasing this teaser render of its upcoming concept, the KV7, due to be unveiled at the Detroit auto show. The large crossover appears to preview a replacement for the Korean manufacturer's Borrego. While the exterior's clamshell tailgate, muscular wheelarches and Ford Explorer-aping lamp graphics (from this view, at least) may be directly relative to a production model, it's unlikely that the rear gullwing door openings will make the transition.

Moss is one of the most recognizable figures in motorsports, with a career that has spanned more than 60 years.
