SPECIFICATIONS Use the Cool-It Mat to battle excessive heat and noise that penetrate the driver compartment through the firewalls and floorboards. It is also perfect in doors, under hoods, and above transmission housings. The Cool-It Mat is composed of resin-bonded silica blanketing insulation sandwiched between a mylar facing on one side and a foil facing on the other. The highly-reflective mylar reflects heat away from surfaces, while the foil side is orientated away from the heat source to conduct any penetrating heat across its surface thus providing the ultimate in heat protection. Lamborghini Gallardos recalled for fire risk
Thu, 13 Sep 2012A safety recall for 1,491 2004-2006 Gallardo coupes and spyders was handed down by Lamborghini due to a potential faulty hydraulic hose in the power steering system that could, with an ignition source, start a fire. Owners will be notified within the next month if their car is one of the potential candidates for a “Disco Inferno.”

Regular eyetests should be 'mandatory' for all drivers

There are 2,900 road casualties each year in the UK caused by poor eyesight. Road safety charity Brake is asking the government to introduce mandatory eyesight tests for all drivers when they renew their driving licence every 10 years.
