Thankfully, I have successfully repaired quite a few of these controllers for some fellow 4Runner enthusiasts so I would like to send you one of my fully refurbished controls from my stock, with your choice of lighting, with a LIFETIME WARRANTY!!

This listing is for the people who don't want to be without a control in their truck. I noticed with my other listings that people just CAN'T be without their climate control so I am now offering this convenient way to get a working control the fastest way possible. All you have to do is purchase the listing and shortly thereafter, I will send you a PayPal Invoice for the core charge, which needs to be paid before shipment of your control.  This money is fully refundable once I receive your control back and deem it good core, meaning it can't have a cracked LCD, the outer casing needs to be unbroken and generally cannot have been worked on before, although this stipulation, I am flexible on.   I reserve the right to deny any core I deem unworthy and will refund all funds minus return shipping.

Some of the problems affecting these controllers include:

• Unresponsive buttons
• Temperature and fan controls very erratic
• LCD backlight or buttons not lit up

Furthermore, I also am offering an LED upgrade as an option to be included with the repair.  I always hated the olive green coloring of the backlight and buttons and believe that the LEDs really add a nice touch to the interior of the 4Runner.  They use less energy, give off less heat, and last a lot longer than the incandescent bulbs Toyota uses.  I am offering several colors which I have uploaded some pictures of each color.  I also have incandescent OEM style replacement bulbs. Unfortunately, I cannot extend the lifetime warranty to the bulbs or LEDs as they can fail over time. 

The colors I have available are:

• Blue
• Red
• Amber
• Green
• White
