Transom Clamp from a 1977 Johnson 6 HP Model 6R77M, Serial J4725164 outboard motor. Fits similar Evinrude Motors as well as other year Johnson Outboards. Fresh water use only. In good to very good condition with no broken parts but with some minor corrosion and cosmetic paint scuffs and scratches. Use as-is or would restore/repaint nicely if desired. Riveted Plate is stamped: 6R77M J4725164. Tilt is tight but stiff and could use further lubrication for smoother operation. Zoom in on pictures to better see the nice condition of this part. CDN/GM-PATAC competition deadline extended
Fri, 08 Feb 2013We're now three months into the CDN-GM/PATAC Interactive Design Competition China, and here at CDN we're excited to see some many strong entries coming in. Because there has been such a flurry of quality entries leading up to the first round deadline, we're happy to announce that the deadlines have been adjusted to allow for more students to compete for two internships with GM in China. All entries must now be received by March 1, 2013 in order to qualify for judging.
German custom shop creates vinyl wrap celebrating Ayrton Senna
Tue, 01 May 2012It was 18 years ago on May 1 that Ayrton Senna crashed his Williams Formula One car and died during the San Marino Grand Prix. German customizer Cam Shaft is celebrating the man on the anniversary of his demise with a new vinyl wrap for an old Lotus Esprit. Senna drove for the Lotus team from 1985 to 1987 in the notable black-and-gold John Player Special Lotus 97T.

Following on from the diminutive T.25 city car, the Teewave AR.1 is an all-electric roadster that features a carbon monocoque chassis, designed in such a way that it can be applied to a variety of vehicle types. The AR.1 sports car was designed in close collaboration with Toray Industries, a Japanese carbon fiber specialist.
