We recently purchased the contents of a barn from a life long collector of vintage car parts.  Check out our other auctions and "The Old Car Parts Store" for similar items that have been in storage for the past 40+ years.

Here is a VINTAGE 1941 PACKARD WINDSHIELD DIVIDER / TRIM MOLDING.  This piece is in poor to fair condition due mainly to the outward dings resulting from the mounting screws being over tightened and thus pushing out dimples in the metal along the centerline in several spots (see pics).  There are three of these spots and a couple of small ding as well as some mild to moderate surface scratches here and there.  The mounting strip is still in tact on the backside and the finish still carries a good shine.  This piece could be used on a driver or perhaps a custom or rat rod application.  Please check out the pictures and email us with questions before bidding.  Professional packaging guaranteed (see our feedback).  Bid with confidence and good luck.

Tesla planning car to take on Nissan LEAF – and maybe sell out to Apple

Elon Musk is buoyed by the success of the Tesla S and the seemingly inexorable rise in Tesla’s stock which has allowed Tesla to repay its government loans way ahead of schedule. Now Musk has been getting adventurous in an interview with Bloomberg where he’s stated that the next plan for Tesla is to build a smaller, more affordable electric car that can take on the Nissan LEAF. Musk plans to stay in control of Tesla until plans for a news small EV are complete, and said: With the Model S, you have a compelling car that’s too expensive for most people.

Toyo recalls more than 66,000 tires for defect

Toyo Tire said on Wednesday that it is recalling more than 66,000 tires because of a possible defect that could lead to tire failure. The company will recall the P225/60R-16 Extensa A/S tires that were distributed in the United States from Sept. 20, 2009, to Nov.
