Some Chevrolet dealerships halt Volt sales due to tool costs

Wed, 02 Jan 2013

Some Chevrolet dealers have stopped carrying the Volt after deciding that their sales didn't justify an additional $5,100 for tools to service the plug-in hybrid. Penske and Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn are friends and talk frequently.

So this car won’t challenge the upper echelons of hot-hatchdom that now have to pump out closer to 200bhp to be in contention.
