Ford cuts CEO's compensation 37%

CEO Alan Mulally earned $13.57 million in total compensation in 2008, a 37 percent decline, as the automaker avoided seeking a federal bailout while posting a record loss. Amelia gives two Best in Show awards, one for elegance and one for sport.
GM transplants Chevrolet Volt technology into the Cadillac ELR hybrid
Wed, 17 Aug 2011One of the headliners of the 2009 Detroit auto show, the Cadillac Converj concept, will become production reality. Cadillac confirmed some details on Wednesday afternoon and said that the coupe will be called the ELR. It will use a T-shaped lithium-ion battery pack, and a generator kicks on to extend range, similar to the Chevrolet Volt.
