Infiniti EX35
Fri, 24 Aug 2007The EX35 is a slightly smaller and more mainstream SUV than its FX bigger brother from which it takes its core 'coupe SUV' theme. Despite the coupe design references, the vehicle is similar proportionally to the Lexus RX300 and BMW X3 which it will compete with in the US - and also in Europe when the Infiniti brand debuts next year. Little different to the Infiniti EX concept shown in New York, the EX35 uses the core Infiniti graphic design signatures and soft form language but introduces a new flowing side feature line not seen on the Infiniti G37 Coupe launched a few months ago. Interesting technical innovations include the 'Around View Monitor' that uses four cameras to give a 'top-down view' of the outside of the car, and 'Scratch Shield' - a new self-healing clearcoat paint. 2015 Subaru Legacy Concept to debut at LA Auto Show
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Subaru introduced the Legacy Concept for the Los Angeles Auto Show on Thursday. The concept sedan celebrates the 25th anniversary of the vehicle, and Subaru says it previews styling for future models. The Legacy Concept is swathed in a color called Ocean Silver Metallic and features a coupe-like roofline.
Volvo to launch large-scale autonomous driving project

No need to jump in your car and drive to your uncle's fallout shelter where he's been stockpiling expired cans of tomato soup, though, at least not just yet. The machines in question are Volvos (pretty benign, right?), and the place they'll be taking over is Volvo's home town of Gothenburg, Sweden.
