Earlier this month, Ford unveiled its EcoSport compact SUV at the Delhi Auto Expo. The B-segment crossover is a key component in the brand's ‘One Ford' global strategy, underlined by the fact it was designed in Brazil under the direction of Joa Marcos De Oliveira Ramos. New Peugeot 308 GT hot hatch due on sale in 2014

Peugeot The Peugeot 308 GT will be unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show this September, according to company insiders. Speaking at the launch of the 308 SW estate, Peugeot sources told us that the 308 GT will be revealed in its home market and is likely to go on sale before the end of the year. Technical details haven't been announced, but the 308 GT is expected to use a version of the 208 GTi's turbocharged 1.6-litre engine, with a similar power output of about 200hp.

SPD offers scholarships for autumn program with Volkswagen Group

The Scuola Politecnica di Design is giving away eight scholarships for its autumn program in collaboration with the Volkswagen Group. The scholarships are aimed at students with degrees in transportation or car design, automotive engineering or equivalent degrees that show a high level of potential. The successful eight students will be given scholarships and will begin their studies at the Milan-based SPD on October 24. The awarding of the scholarships will be decided by a ‘motivational interview', an evaluation of the student's portfolio and the submission of a conceptual project assignment, with the election process being conducted jointly by the SPD and Volkswagen.
