Nissan GT-R to be revised for Europe

It might have just announced a new lap record at the Nurburgring – chief test driver Tochio Suzuki shaved nine seconds off the GT-R's previous record of 7min 38 – but Nissan's engineers are already working on upgrades to the everyman's supercar.Chief vehicle engineer Kazutoshi Mizuno told CAR Online that the GT-R models bound for the American market would benefit from a range of small tweaks, including three harder engine mounts and a stiffer transaxle mount to stop the mechancial parts from moving under extreme cornering. Guggenheim to auction BMW M1 art car

The Guggenheim Museum in New York is selling an original BMW M1 art car to raise funds and to make way for other exhibits. Frank Stella painted the Bavarian supercar in 1979, and it has been part of the Guggenheim collection since 1999. BMW has commissioned many art cars since the program launched in 1975, including another M1 by Andy Warhol and a 3.0 CSL also by Stella.
