This is the fuel tank from what appears to be an early 70's Yamaha AT1 Motorcycle.  I acquired this in a warehouse clean-out and know nothing of it's history.  The cap seems to work as designed.  I cannot speak for the petcock.

The Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 runs from 17th -27th September to the public Many of the Japanese makers will be conspicuous by their absence, but that should be more than made up for by the launches from the big European makers.
