Fiat boss Sergio Marchionne wants to build Mazda cars in Fiat and Chrysler plants around the world. (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});When Alfa Romeo and Mazda revealed last week that they would be developing a new small roadster together – well, Alfa Romeo would take the next generation MX-5 and sculpt on a new body to make a new Alfa Spider – we suggested Mazda would be better of getting Fiat to build their cars. It seems Fiat boss Sergio Marchionne thinks the same.

The BMW 5 Series Hybrid (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({}); As we reported in December, with a couple of days to go to the Geneva Motor Show BMW have revealed that the new BMW 5 Series (2010) will have a Hybrid added to its ranks. Actually, they haven’t said that – the 5 Series Hybrid Concept they’re taking to Geneva is labelled a Concept – but we all know it’s what they mean. The 5 Series Hybrid will join the X6 Hybrid and the 7 Series Hybrid when it goes on sale, probably in 2011.

Infiniti showrooms to open in UK this autumn

The luxury division of Nissan is building its first dealership on the UK's equivalent of Silicone Valley along the M4 corridor – on the outskirts of Reading. Britain's first three Infiniti centres will be in Reading, west and north London.
