This AUCTION is for the NOS ORIGINAL 1946 MERCURY DASHBOARD OIL PRESSURE GAUGE shown. This gauge was supplied on all 1946 MERCURY passenger cars. It has part number 59A-9273. This gauge is a nice new item and is packaged in the original box. The photos show the condition of this gauge which is quite nice with only a single scratch keeping it from being perfect. I have not attempted to test it but I expect it will work perfectly. Since this is a 72 year old electrical part I can not make a guarantee as to how well it works. This gauge is being offered at a very reasonable price. Please let me prepare invoice with lowest cost shipping choice before sending in payment as Ebay calculated shipping charges are usually too high. But this is a VW as well as Audi show, so Volkswagen has gone one better and brought along a pair of Concept Cars – The VW Golf GTI Wörthersee Concept and the VW Polo Wörthersee Concept. The Golf GTI Concept, based on the new VW Golf GTI, comes in a dark Firespark Red and a set of mean looking black alloys.
NYC approves Ford Transit Connect for taxi fleet
Thu, 21 Jul 2011New York signed off on the Ford Transit Connect to be used for taxi service, paving the way for the nation's largest city to begin switching to the small van in place of the aging Crown Victoria. The move was announced Thursday after a public hearing; New York joins Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago on the list of major cities that have approved the vehicle for taxi service. The Transit Connect (and Taurus sedan) is approved for use now, but a Nissan van will become the exclusive vehicle in 2013.
