Up for auction is one 1971 through 1972 Oldsmobile Toronado Part Number Service Guide with illustrations and OEM part numbers. This 9 (nine) page manual was published by Mitchell Manuals in 1975, and is in a loose leaf format that can be installed in a binder. This manual was originally used by dealership body shops to estimate repair costs/damage on 1971 through 1972 Oldsmobile Toronado vehicles, but is now a valuable source of information for looking up OEM factory part numbers that are discontinued or no longer available. Rain doesn't dampen spirits at Orphan Car Show
Wed, 28 Sep 2011With rain falling as the show cars arrived, organizers worried that moving the 15th-annual Ypsilanti Orphan Car Show from its original June weekend to late September wasn't going to work out after all. It was rescheduled last year after heavy rain in June and participants voted to make the change permanent. Fortunately, the rain blew over before the gates opened to spectators and Sunday turned out to be as nice a day as Saturday, when more than 30 entrants enjoyed a tour to view the extensive Nash collection that Ken and Mary Ann Havekost have accumulated in Monroe, Mich.
Superb wins Tow Car of the Year
Wed, 02 Oct 2013THE SKODA SUPERB Estate has been crowned Tow Car of the Year by the Caravan Club, beating off competition from 40 other entrants including Range Rover and Jaguar. Commenting on the Superb’s ability, the judges remarked: ‘With a loading limit of 100kg on the roof, 80kg on the towball and a boot that scored maximum marks, it’s a very tough act to follow. You wouldn’t know you were towing a caravan.’ Skoda also won the £16,000-£20,000 category with the new Octavia 1.2 TSI, which was praised for its pulling power with such a small engine.

Of the six cars tested, full five-star marks were dished out to the Toyota Avensis and Toyota iQ, as well as the Mitsubishi Lancer and Mazda 6. Meanwhile, the Citroen C3 Picasso and Subaru Impreza were awarded four stars.
